Sage is extra lucky because her birthday always falls when Adam, Kacy and the kids are out, so she get's to have extra family around when it's her birthday!

That afternoon we went down to Cleveland Pt for a sausage sizzle.

One of the girls favourite thing to do....ride on Papa's shoulders.
The wind was up a little and the tide was high so the girls thought it would be fun to see if they could get hit by the waves smashing against the wall.

That night we had a swim and cake. The cake wasn't my greatest achievement (brown with red clutter, lady bugs and white and yellow flowers...nothing matched!) But I've come to the realisation that kids don't care if they have the fanciest cake in the world. All that matters to them is family and the love they feel around them on the special day and that she definitely had.
